Meet the Maker : June + December

Nature keeps the stories we return to

Katie and Nick Forte founded June + December in 2012, naming the studio for the months their children were born. Their flower presses, herbariums, specimen kits, and botanical paper goods grow from a belief that the most meaningful objects help us remember: a walk through tall grass, a child's first collection, a flower saved from a particular day. Made to deepen curiosity and connection with the living world, their work gives us beautiful ways to gather what would otherwise pass, and to keep its story close.
